The Spanish Group Team traveling with 6 girls, will compete with the same 5 gymnast' on both routines.
However, that could change depending on what Efrossina Angelova decides would be best for the team.
All is looking great for now :)
Go Spain!!!

BTW, did you hear the Ukrainian group withdrew? Most of the girls were kicked out and sent back home due to insubordination...
Private, yes Ukraina has been having financial difficulties and since this EC is not that important they are making the right decision.
On another note, the last time i watched the Ukrainian Group practice... it was a mess of drops and i was even surprised that they were able to compete as well on the floor. Because off the floor it was a disaster ... I am sure they will be back with a new team for WC.
I am going to start posting when the videos come out...
At this moment everyone is just getting used to the gym and today is last day of practice on the floor.
If one is changing the group every other week because one of the girls annoys her, then yeah, the group will show up to competitions looking like hot messes.
in Vitrichenko's book (available in Spain only), she talks a great deal about the quirks of the two head coaches and says that one of the reasons why Ukraine lost it's political power and everyone switched their allegiance to Mrs. Thing was because of the Ukrainian coaches' tendencies to stab their own gymnasts in the back.
They indeed tend to have rocky relationships with their gymnasts when said gymnasts eventually retire. And we're not just talking about middle of the road/group gymnasts here. Godunko said that while Mrs. Thing praised her after her last competition, the coaches basically ignored her. They even accused Timoshenko and Skaldina of betrayal when they both ran off with their boyfriends after the 1992 Olympics. True, they did make peace with both of them but that wasn't until both were too settled in their lives in Austria/Germany and Moscow to be inclined to come back. Which is a shame.
One thing you can say about Mrs. Thing is that she is an excellent administrator. If a school is in danger of being closed down, she will be willing to fight the local government to keep it open. On the other hand, schools in Ukraine close and what do the powers that be have to say about that? They say it's the fault of the school for not lobbying hard enough...
GO SPAIN!!!
